I don’t know about you, but with 5 kids and 5 dogs, life can get pretty chaotic. Early on, I relied heavily on lists, but they were all just different tasks scribbled on different pieces of paper. I would carry these around proudly, thinking to myself that I was so together! I mean, as long as I had it written down, I would get whatever it was completed, right? Little did I know I needed organized home printables!
Epic problem: Living Without A Home Organizing Binder
Well that was not the reality of what was actually happening. I had all sorts of lists, but I spent most of my time rewriting these lists. It was definitely not the best use of my time. I needed declutter the very thing that I thought was keeping my organized life together!
I decided to do something about it. My kids were able to organize all of their schoolwork into notebooks. They kept on top of all of their classes and assignments like clockwork. I used to be just like them too! Wait a minute….I had an epiphany…..notebooks aren’t just for school any more!
epic solution: Home Management Binder
Yep, I decided to take a literal page from my kiddos notebooks and started to think about my life in categories. There was my to-do lists, grocery shopping and meal planning, home upkeep, kid’s schedules, budget planning…I could go on and on!
I looked on-line for something to meet my needs, but I was not able to come up with anything that appealed to me. So, I created some of my own. I wanted them to be fun to look at yet really straightforward and simple. If the lists’ design were too complicated or had too many spots for different information, I knew I would never use them. This is what led me to design some of my own home organizing notebook printables.
